Diller Teen Fellows is a yearlong programme for year 12 students from 32 communities across 7 countries. Over summer, Fellows come together from around the world during Israel Summer Seminar (ISS) for an incredible and enriching experience that brings collaboration, unification, and lifetime memories.

Each Cohort is made up of no more than 20 Fellows who go through the application process to be selected. In the UK, we meet roughly once a month for Shabbatonim (weekend trips) around England with a focus on learning more about our three main outcomes: stronger Jewish identity, activated leaders of Tikkun Olam and empower teens to discover their leadership. Throughout the year there are opportunities to engage with our outcomes, which gives participants the chance to learn more about themselves and the people around them.

Each international community has a partnership community in Israel. The UK is partners with Mate’ Asher. Their community comes to visit England for Jewish Community Mifgash (JCM) just before Pesach to experience cultural differences, meet people in the same programme and build upon relationships with a diverse group. This spearheads the summer trip enhancing the hospitality component during community week – our visit to Mate’ Asher.

The Diller Teen Fellows experience is incredible and unique. It gives Fellow’s life skills and enhances university applications. Being part of a programme that is world-wide opens lots of doors and creates many opportunities as well as creating a strong group of people who encourage each other to be the best they can be.

Empowered Leaders

Fellows grapple with what it means to be a young Jew as part of a vibrant, international community.

Stronger Jewish Identity

Fellows form stronger Jewish identities and continue a lifelong exploration of their culture, history, and heritage.

Tikkun Olam

Fellows have the chance to create and engage in meaningful projects and experiences for the betterment of the world.

"Being a Diller Teen Fellow and JC gave me an incredible opportunity to develop skills and attributes that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. I also loved meeting Jewish people from around the world, showing me how varied and connected we are as a people. I would recommend this programme to everyone!"

Milli Hargreaves (Manchester)

Cohort 7 - 2022/23

"My time as a Diller teen fellow was incredible. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, encouraging me to grow as both a leader and an individual. Not only that, but it allowed me to meet so many incredible people, building strong connections that will last a lifetime. I hope to carry the lessons I’ve learned with me for the rest of my life, and remain a part of the alumni community."

Ethan Rosen (London)

“Meeting likeminded fellows from the UK and around the world really opened my eyes to how Jews globally share the same cultures and ideas. Meeting these new faces has changed my life!”
