Financial assistance
At FZY, we feel very strongly that finances should never be a reason for a child to not participate on Israel Tour. We have set up a bursary committee to provide support where there is a real need, and work with UJIA’s bursary committee to ensure that there is assistance in place. There are three routes available for families to apply for, outlined below. Alternatively, you can find more information on UJIA’s website.
available options
Hardship Funding
Applicants will be entitled to apply for this funding if the parents/guardians that the participant is living with are receiving means-tested benefits such as Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Free School Meals.
Exceptional Circumstances
If not eligible for Hardship Funding, applicants may apply for financial assistance under this category. Gross total household income must not exceed £85,000.
Interest Free Loan from UJIA

Instalment plans
Applicants are entitled to apply for up to 60% of the cost of tour. Decisions will be based on affordability, and they may not be offered a loan for the full amount requested.
If you do not want to apply for any of these options but cannot pay the full amount at once, we can offer to set up an instalment plan. This will work much like any subscription- we will set a certain date each month for the agreed upon sum to be debited from your account. The full sum will still be due by the 24th April, which is the same date as the general deadline. Please be in touch with claire@fzy.org.uk to set this up.
