Participants will have the unique opportunity to volunteer for a minimum of 25 hours per week while in Israel, contributing to a range of meaningful and impactful causes. These may include working in agriculture, assisting at packing and sorting centers, and directly supporting individuals and communities who genuinely need and appreciate our help.

Through this hands-on experience, participants will make a tangible difference, fostering connections with those they serve while gaining a deeper understanding of Israeli society and the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world).

During the programme, our Year 13 students will take part in mifgashim—meaningful encounters with Israeli peers of their own age.

These meetings are designed to foster personal connections, promote cultural exchange, and deepen their understanding of life in Israel. Through shared experiences and open dialogue, students will gain new perspectives and build friendships that last beyond the programme.

Participants will also experience a warm and inclusive FZY Shabbat, where they will enjoy quality time with fellow FZY members in a pluralist, welcoming environment.

This Shabbat offers a chance to reflect, connect, and unwind, as students come together to share meals, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in activities that celebrate the spirit of community and Jewish values. It's a time for bonding, relaxation, and creating memories with friends, old and new.
