The FZY Tzedakah Project

Since 1982 nine Israeli soldiers have been taken captive.

All of the men are known to have been captured alive. Over the years there has been a steady flow of information indicating that the missing men are alive, and being held captive in Syria and Iran.

During all the years that these soldiers have been missing, a great deal of evidence as to the soldiers' situation has leaked to the West.

In recent years FZY has played a vital role in the campaign to bring them back by mounting rallies, working for the Campaign office in Israel and and supporting the soldiers' families.

Blue ribbon badges are available from the FZY office at the cost of £1.00, all proceeds donated to the International Coalition for Missing Israel Soldiers campaign.

FZY Boger sings for the soldiers

Antithesis (aka FZY boger Samuel Green, pictured right) took the cause of the MIAs as inspiration to write 'Ima Mechaka Babayit' (Mother Is Waiting At Home) while on FZY Year Course.

After encouragement from the MIA Soldiers' families Samuel recorded and published a limited release EP containing the song, fundraising for the MIA Soldiers Campaign. Samuel's rap has since had airplay around the world, followed by appearances in the press and radio.

'The Israel Question' EP, containing 'Ima Mechaka Babayit' can be purchased from antithesistherapper.com, where you can find out more about Antithesis.
