WANT TO LEAD TOUR BUT DIDN’T GO ON FZY’s YEARCOURSE?

(18-19 years old – First year university students)

FreshZY is a  programme for our University Freshers – an exciting opportunity to stay involved in the FZY journey whilst you further your academic path. With well established social networks at universities across the UK, there has never been a better time to be part of the FZY bogrim (student) family!

With four main components, this programme is packed with social perks, educational tools and leadership opportunities, a perfect chance for a fresh start.! Each session is highly interactive covering leadership in the FZY world and beyond. With increased anti-Semitism and protests on campus, FreshZY also provides first year students with the practical skills for Israel advocacy.

Whether you’ve been on Year Course or not, FreshZY is the programme for you.

Not only will you be part of the booming FZY social scene on your campus, but you will follow the footsteps of those who have inspired you to become the next generation of FZY leaders, and eventually be able to take FZY camp in the summer.

The Structure

  • 20/12/12 – First meeting – Introduction to programme, meeting the group and first session (During FZY Veida at Somerset)
  • End of January 2013 – Session 2 and updates (Birmingham)
  • 15-17/2 or 22-24/2 – Intro to Tour Seminar*
  • End of March 2013 – Session 3 (Nottingham)
  • May 2013 – Pre-Flight Meeting
  • 1-18 July  2013 – Manhigut Israel Trip:

Fees include:
  1. Transportation to & from the designated London airport to Tel Aviv
  2. Flights
  3. Accommodation (Apartments in Tel-Aviv, Youth Hostels, 2 star hotels, youth villages etc)
  4. Programme as outlined (Subject to changes)
  5. Food stipend or 3 meals per day
  6. Guided Tours & Seminars where relevant
  7. Bus Passes or Bicycles for internal city transportation in Israel (where relevant)
  8. Group activities
  9. Entrance fees for organised progrmmes

  11. Staff & Security costs
  12. Basic medical insurance

*This is a heavily subsidised price. Spaces are extremely limited.

The full subsidy of the programme is contingent on the participant attending the all  sessions as presented above.

We would also be grateful if you are able to provide a greater donation towards the bursary fund.
