Diller Teen Fellows

Diller Teen Fellows- A programme for year 12 across the UKdiller_teen_logo_fellow-L

Brand new to the UK!

FZY are proud to host the first Diller Teen Fellows community in Europe, partnering with the Tiberius community in Israel!

The Diller Teen Fellowship is a yearlong leadership programme inviting a select group of Jewish year 12 teens from London, Manchester and Leeds to step up, lead their communities, and repair the world.

Our training features a commitment to hands-on ‘tikkun olam’, building a connection to the Jewish people and Israel, and deepening Jewish identity.

Participants will explore and expand their understanding of who they are, who they want to be, and how they want to make a mark on the world. We will do this through 5 Shabbatonim (weekend residential seminars) throughout the year, a week-long visit by the Israeli teens from Tiberius to London, and a ten- day summer experience that brings all of the Diller communities together in Israel.

About Diller Teen Fellows:

The Diller Teen Fellows programme was established in San Francisco, California, in 1997 by the Helen Diller Family Foundation, a Supporting Foundation of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund of San Francisco. Since then, the programme has expanded to include 26 participating communities across North America, South Africa, Australia, Israel, and now also in the UK!

Today, the Diller Teen Fellows is recognised as a premier leadership development programme for Jewish teens. The programme provides a unique model for experiencing Jewish pluralism, Peoplehood, global partnership. The programme has graduated more than 3,000 alumni, leaders actively engaged in improving the future of their communities, Israel, and the Jewish people.

It is Helen Diller’s strong conviction that investing in teens today will create future Jewish leaders for generations to come.
