Southern Fieldworker
I am really excited this year to reinvigorate FZY activity in London for all ages. There are lots of new developments this year including a multi-track Kedma programme for sixth-formers, ‘Ofarim’ – a new weekly club for years 7-9. and the opportunity to run some fantastic and innovative events for Noarnikim (years 10-11).
Do you have any nick-names?
STG/S-Teej, Sashy, Sashimi etc.
What is your favourite FZY experience ever!?
My first Veida in 2006 which was the first moment I really understood what it means to be a member of FZY. It’s not just about the summer programmes, or even the weekly meetings, but about being part of something bigger.
What football team do you support?
Spurs (nominally)
If you had to pick one person from throughout history that you look up to and respect more than anyone else who would it be and why?
All of my teachers throughout my FZY journey who have shown me values of selflessness, intelligence, compassion, activism, empathy and education.
Who do you think will be the craziest person in the office this coming year and why?
I’ll leave that for you to discover
Give us a final message for all the FZY-niks this year
Work out what you most care about and use it to continually inspire you! Never stop challenging yourselves, learning from everyone you meet, and using your passion to achieve incredible things.
Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on other people and the world.
